John 12:24-25 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
A grain of wheat must fall to the ground and die to produce fruit. So must our self-centered lives die to produce Kingdom fruit. Denial is the pathway to multiplication and purpose. Fruitfulness in the Kingdom begins with a burial of self.
Prayer: Lord, let my life be a seed that dies to self and bears fruit for Your Kingdom.
Declaration: I die to self so I may live and bear fruit for God’s glory.
